I WILL WORSHIP YOU THROUGH IT ALL!

I WILL WORSHIP YOU THROUGH IT ALL!

Psalm 34 was written by David after he had learned that Saul intended to kill him. Through this Psalm David was reminded to focus on praising God through this stormy season of his life. As we read about the stormy season of David we should be reminded that we need to praise God first through whatever season we may be in and trust that God will protect those who worship and obey him. Psalm 34:2-3 says ” I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted here and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.” This is saying that God wants us to live with praise on our lips no matter what is going on around us (Psalm 63:3-4). I know I know life can be hard and you are probably thinking this is easier said than done... I too have believed that however I have found that Psalm 34:17 “The righteous cry out, and the lord hears them He delivers them from all their troubles” has consistently reminded me that all things will work out. My challenge for you is when you feel like it is hard to praise you begin to praise. Take one step whether it’s singing a worship song or saying a prayer. The problems that you are facing may not go away immediately but they will begin to fade away when your eyes are fixed on Him.
